Vermont Global Exchange

The Vermont Global Exchange is an informal network of invited leaders of Vermont-based organizations doing major development work overseas.   We meet twice a year to do things together that we cannot do alone, including:

  • Exchange resources

  • Explore topics of high interest

  • Mine the wisdom of invited guests

  • Make strategic links with each other and other organizations

Our continuing preoccupation is how we can be more effective in a complex world and focus our organizations on the most pressing contemporary questions that need attention.

Vermont organizations are helping the world achieve its Sustainable Development Goals

All the members of the Vermont Global Exchange are engaged with one or more of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Agreed to in 2015 by 193 countries, the Global Goal framework lays out a roadmap whereby both humans and the environment can flourish. The goals are galvanizing action around the world.

Stay tuned for further news about how Vermont organizations are working to bring us closer to attaining these goals through their work both here and abroad.
